Refunds

14 days, no reason required.

If Locke is not what you wanted, tell us within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund it in full. You do not need to explain why.

How to ask

Email support@asklocke.com from the address on your Locke account. We aim to reply within two business days. Refunds go back to your original payment method; how quickly it appears is up to your bank, and usually takes a few days.

Locke Plus

Plus is a one-time $9.99 purchase, refundable in full within 14 days.

A refund ends your access to new corpus downloads and updates. A corpus release already installed on your Mac stays there and keeps working — we do not reach into your Mac to delete it. If you had not yet used your Plus-to-Max upgrade offer, the refund ends your eligibility for it.

Locke Max

Max is a subscription. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in the app or on this site.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. Max stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then cloud models, web answers, and corpus updates stop. We do not refund part of a period you have already used, except within the 14-day window or where consumer law requires it.

Resubscribing restores everything, including corpus downloads and updates.

What a refund never does

After 14 days

We are not rigid about this. If something went genuinely wrong — a failed download you could not complete, a charge you did not expect, a feature that did not work on your Mac — write to us and we will sort it out. The 14-day promise is the floor, not the ceiling.

Your legal rights

This policy sits on top of the consumer rights you already have where you live, including the statutory right of withdrawal for digital purchases in the UK and EU. Nothing here reduces them.

Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your bank rather than contacting us, the associated access ends while the dispute is open. We would much rather you emailed us first — it is faster, and we do not argue about refunds inside the window.
